Based in Milan

She start her career as assistant director for the Taviani brothers, Michelangelo Antonioni, Maurizio Zaccaro, Jacques Venait, Robert Fraisse, Jerard de Batista and many others. 

She was the first woman in Europe to become assistant 35mm camera operator and Mitchell accompanist. 

What Malena loves is to use the necessities of commercial work to transform it into art while remaining "commercial" so that the images and films are perfectly inserted and represent the socio-cultural moment of the time, thus obtaining a lasting memorability. 

She has exhibited twice at the Venice Biennale, then at the Louvre and on billboards in New York's Time Square. 

Has been invited to exhibit solo shows all over the world, more than 50 in Italy and abroad between 2002 and 2019. 

She took part in many art fairs such as Art Basel in 2015, 2017, 2018; Artefiera Bologna, MIA Milan where in 2022 he won the Irinox prize and Hampton's in the States where she saw the value of his works grow up to quintuple. 

Since 2005 he has participated every year in the Sotheby's auction for charity. 

She has published several photographic books, one with the introduction of the Nobel Dario Fo and the last one this year in a numbered and signed edition.
