Michelangelo Rossino currently lives and works in Turin.

Between 1980 and 1985, alongside his artistic studies at the Academy of Fine Arts, he worked at a renowned advertising agency and collaborated with artists from the Turin area. Rossino began exhibiting his works in solo and group exhibitions early on, with his first exhibition in 1981 at the Ginevra Grigolo Gallery in Bologna. In 1982, he received the Albarello Award at the Promotrice di Belle Arti in Turin for his work "Paesaggio bianco," a canvas treated like a whiteboard, revealing a line of analytical-pictorial work. This recognition led to an invitation from art critic Filiberto Menna to participate in the XI Quadriennale di Roma in 1986.

In 1992, his solo exhibition at the Martano Gallery in Turin involved dividing canvases into portions, described by Francesco Poli as "active elements of painting." The works were prepared for a kaleidoscopic game of decompositions, an object-oriented painting disposed to change and temporary mutation. Mario Bertoni, in the same catalog, referred to "Indizi di Permutabilitá dell’opera," and later, in his essential book "Tempi e Forme," he delved into Rossino's art.

In 1996, during a group exhibition at the GAM in Rome, Rossino used colleagues' sculptures as masks or molds to paint shadows and reliefs on transparent plastic panels, material commonly used for industrial workspace division. During these years, he created large installations using various materials, including ink-printed wooden panels with images from art history digitally processed into unrecognizable forms. Elements from his work as an advertising illustrator were juxtaposed with pure abstraction or traces of casts from colleagues' works

In the same period, Rossino pursued his career as a commercial photographer and illustrator, achieving positive results. He received awards and worked for major brands, featuring in prominent industry magazines.
